Consortium & Affiliates Program Agreements
Consortium and Affiliates Program Agreements must be executed to provide certain parameters for interaction of a group of private companies and department(s) or unit(s) of the University. Such documents spell out the expectations of all parties in order to protect the rights of the parties. However, since consortium and affiliates programs generally strive, first and foremost, to promote industry- University interaction in order to cooperate in research and to create forums for exchange of knowledge and ideas, a concerted effort is made not to make these agreements too restrictive.
